Learn out how to download and install CIG's open-source software, collaborate with other CIG members by adding and editing web pages, and participate in the geodynamics community by attending workshops or joining discussion groups.
- Install and Use CIG Software
- CIG provides source code and/or binaries of various open-source geodynamics codes to assist you in your research. You do not need a CIG member account to access this software.
Our four main-line codes:
- Add to or Edit CIG Web Pages - If you are collaborating with other geophysicists and need to add or edit web pages on this website, or you want a place to store or share your CIG-related research results, you need a CIG account.
- Participate in the CIG Community - Each year CIG sponsors or co-sponsors various workshops and tutorials, and hosts an annual business meeting. CIG's website and various mailing lists publish details on these events and announce new and updated software releases and other items of interest to the geodynamics community.
