The CIG Seismology Web Portal, which provides on-demand simulations of seismic wave propagation, has had its processor capability enhanced to 1014 processors, via the TeraGrid Ranger's Hero queue.

CIG's Executive Committee announced Dr. Louise Kellogg of UC Davis as the next director of CIG. Her term will commence when CIG-II is awarded, estimated to be in early 2010.
