Site-Specific Instructions for Using CSA Software

After receiving your allocation to try out CIG software, follow the instructions for the facility you will be using: the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA), the San Diego Supercomputer Center (SDSC), or the Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC).

TACC Instructions for Running CIG Software
The Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC) at The University of Texas at Austin offers four queue levels that vary in priority and no. of processors. NOTE: For CitcomS, the parallel HDF5 library is not available on the TACC TeraGrid; you must use ASCII output.
NCSA Instructions for Running CIG Software
The National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA) at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, offers two job queues: dque (for general purpose) and debug (higher priority but maximum 30 minutes walltime).
SDSC Instructions for Running CIG Software
The San Diego Supercomputer Center (SDSC) at University of California, San Diego, offers one queue for all batch jobs, each of which is limited to an 18-hour wallclock time.
