Do you mean the lines

  TimeStep = 0, Time = 0
  TimeStep = 1, Time = 0.0107738
  ...

Those lines are always printed out, regardless of Journal-level.info.
Are you sure they are not there?

No.  The parallel vtk format does not seem to allow that.
