Bug Submission and Tracking

by admin last modified 2006-02-24 12:23 AM

CIG uses the "Roundup Issue Tracker" to accept, assign, and track bugs in CIG software and associated manuals.

Submit and track bugs at:

http://www.geodynamics.org/roundup

To Submit a Bug

Web Form Bug Submission

  1. Go to http://www.geodynamics.org/roundup
  2. Click on "Create New" in the top of the menu on the left side of the page. (See red arrow).

  3. Complete as many fields (title, priority, notes, etc) as necessary in the bug submission form and press "Submit New Entry." Your bug will be recorded and added to the queue.

Bug Tracking

  1. To track your bug, go to http://www.geodynamics.org/roundup, and search for your submission.
  2. Click on the submission title to check the status of your bug and how close it is to resolution, including messages and history. You can submit follow-ups through the web as well.
  3. If you would like to keep track of your bugs through email, you will have to register and add yourself to the "Nosy List," a field at the top right of the bug submission page.
